Today, we are recruiting for a P&O Advisor to join our People & Organization (P&O) team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to employees and management on various HR matters, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering support and guidance on various P&O-related matters including employee relations, employee development, policy interpretation, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of P&O policies and procedures. Review existing policies, recommend updates or changes, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Serve as the key liaison between employees and GBS (HR Admin and Payroll). Manage various administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, providing information for employment contracts, and managing P&O systems and databases while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Analyze survey results to understand feedback and assess employee satisfaction. Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by organizing focus groups, fostering recognition programs, and consulting managers on necessary actions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business by providing P&O analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights that support informed decision-making, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with managers and employees to drive P&O initiatives, employee engagement programs, and workshop facilitation, fostering a positive employee experience and continuous development culture.
- Lead and manage P&O communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful messaging aligned with business objectives and organizational values.
- Serve as the trusted focal point for delegation management in Egypt, providing guidance and oversight on end-to-end delegate lifecycle processes while ensuring a seamless employee experience.
- Provide expert guidance on labor law, immigration requirements, and company policies, ensuring compliance and supporting business and employee needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Proactively identify risks, drive process improvements, and act as an escalation point for delegates-related matters, ensuring governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated success in an HR professional role within a multinational organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels and building relationships with various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to understand situations, consider multiple perspectives, and propose appropriate solutions.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy to approach sensitive situations
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling employee records, discussions, and personal information.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Egyptian local employment laws and the ability to practically apply this knowledge in workplace situations.
- Agile and adaptable in the way of working.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is required.
